Rajkummar Rao has done it yet again, this time in the intriguing survival drama ‘Trapped’. After teasing fans with a number of unusual posters, the makers of the film dropped the first trailer online on Wednesday.
As per the trailer, 'Trapped' is a survival-drama-thriller about a man, played by Rao, who gets trapped in his own apartment in one of Mumbai’s high-rise buildings, with no escape route. His attempts to get himself out of this potentially fatal situation form the crux of this story.
There is a lot riding on the able shoulders of Nationa Award winning actor Rajkummar Rao as his one-man show in the 2.18-minute clip does enough to pique your interests, all within the confined area of an apartment.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by Phantom Films, the film had its world premiere at the 18th MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival last year and received critical acclaim. The film has been slated for a March 17, 2017 release.
