Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh recently opened up about the inspiration behind the title of his latest album ‘Aura’. The singer shared thaSt the name actually came from his fans, who often compliment him for having an “amazing aura.” A clip of Diljit speaking about it has now gone viral online, with fans enjoying his candid and humorous explanation behind the album title. The album has already achieved massive success globally, crossing over 100 million streams and adding another milestone to Diljit’s flourishing music career.
During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, host Jimmy Fallon congratulated Diljit on the remarkable response to ‘Aura’, which also marks his 15th studio album. “‘Aura’ is your latest album. Congratulations on this. It’s your 15th studio album. This has been streamed over 100 million times. Where did you come up with Aura?” Fallon asked.
Diljit responded with a smile, “It’s a fan statement. They come on my show. They all say, ‘amazing Aura’, you have amazing Aura. So that’s why I put my album name Aura.”

Amused by the response, Jimmy Fallon joked that the fans had essentially named the album themselves. “Oh, okay. The fans named it for you,” Fallon laughed. It was an amazing, amazing show.”

Set during the 1947 Partition of India, the film explores themes of love, migration, separation and memory.
The movie also reunites Imtiaz Ali with music composer A. R. Rahman and lyricist Irshad Kamil. Backed by Applause Entertainment, Window Seat Films and producer Mohit Choudhary, ‘Main Vapas Aaunga’ is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12, 2026.
