When Amitabh Bachchan saw his father break down after the Coolie accident

as well as son. This one was a particularly emotional moment as it was taken right after the actor recovered post the accident on the sets of the film

Coolie

.

When a fight sequence went wrong, Bachchan was rushed to the hospital where his condition was deemed critical. The whole country prayed for his health and their prayed were answered when the actor walked out of the hospital. Talking about this particular picture, he wrote, “It’s the moment I came home after surviving from death after my ‘Coolie’ accident .. It’s the first time ever I saw my Father break down .. The original script of the film ended with Bachchan’s death, but looking at the near-fatal incident, the love showered by people and the actor’s recovery, filmmaker Manmohan Desai decided to change the ending. He modified the ending and had the protagonist recover after his operation.
