Festivals often carry sweet memories, and for Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ganesh Chaturthi 2020 remains one such moment etched in her heart. With celebrations that year muted due to the pandemic, her elder son Taimur Ali Khan came up with an endearing way to mark the occasion. Swapping clay for creativity, the little one built a Ganesha idol out of Lego bricks. Kareena proudly shared the pictures on Instagram, writing: “Ganpati celebrations might be a little different this year… But Tim made sure the festival was on point by making a beautiful Lego Ganeshji for us. Wishing you all a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Praying for peace, everyone’s health and safety.”

The pictures, which showed a close-up of the Lego Ganesha and another of Taimur sitting cross-legged with folded hands, were widely celebrated. Family members and friends poured in affection. Aunt Karisma Kapoor called it “so lovely,” while Manish Malhotra, Maheep Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and Amrita Arora all dropped heart emojis in appreciation. Fans too were touched by the young boy’s devotion and the family’s thoughtful way of celebrating amidst difficult times.

Fast forward to the present, Kareena Kapoor is once again a proud mom, this time celebrating her son’s adventurous streak. During a family vacation in Greece, Taimur took on rock climbing, geared with ropes and safety gear as he scaled a wall with determination. Kareena couldn’t hold back her pride and shared the snapshot on her Instagram Story with the caption: “Flying high, my boy.”
