When Premanand Maharaj said Anushka Sharma's devotion impacted Virat Kohli's journey; called couple 'brave': WATCH
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the most loved celebrity couples in India. The two have created a strong mark in their own fields, Virat as one of the greatest cricketers of his time, and Anushka as a Bollywood actress.
The couple tied the knot in December 2017 in a dreamy wedding that made headlines everywhere. Their happy journey together continued with the birth of their daughter Vamika in January 2021 and their son Akaay in February 2024. As parents, they have embraced family life with love, joy and a deep sense of spirituality.
A video from the Vrindavan ashram soon surfaced online, showing the couple sitting together and listening with full attention to the sermon delivered by Maharaj. Their two children were also present, though their faces were blurred, as Virat and Anushka have always chosen to keep them away from media attention.
The 'Band Baaja Baaraat' actress told him, “Pichli baar jab hum aaye they to mann mein kuch sawaal they. Mujeh laga ki puchungi lekin jo bhi baitha tha wahan pe, un sab ne kuch na kuch waisa sawaal kar liya tha. Jab yahan pe aane ki baat kar rahe they, main aapse mann hi mann baat kar rahi thi. Agle din main Kanti Vartalap kholti thi aur koi na koi wo sawaal puch raha hota tha. Aap bas mujhe prem bhakti de do.” (The last time we came, I had some questions in my heart. I thought I would ask them, but everyone else sitting there ended up asking something similar. When we were thinking of coming here, I was speaking to you silently in my mind. The next day, when I opened Kanti Vartalap, someone or the other would already be asking that same question. All I want is for you to give me divine love and devotion.)
Her next big project is ‘Chakda ’Xpress’, a biopic based on legendary cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film was announced with much excitement, but updates about its release have been few, leaving fans eager for her big-screen return
