When Ranveer Singh described daughter Dua’s birth as ‘infinite happiness’; called his bond with Deepika Padukone ‘magic’: ‘I have been on daddy duty…’
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of Bollywood’s most loved couples. Their chemistry has lit up the screen in films like ‘Ram-Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘83’. Off-screen, their love story has been no less magical. After tying the knot in a dreamy ceremony at Lake Como in 2018, the couple stepped into a new chapter of their lives in September 2024 when they welcomed their baby girl, Dua.
The birth of their daughter brought a wave of joy, not just for the couple, but also for their fans who have followed their journey over the years. Ranveer himself once described this new phase of life in the most heartfelt way.
He said, “That infinite happiness that I am experiencing right now, I wish I had the words to express what it’s like. But there are no words in any language that can describe this happiness. It’s like magic. I am excited for me.”
But despite their best efforts, a recent incident put them in a tough spot. A video surfaced online showing Dua sitting on Deepika’s lap, with her face clearly visible for the first time. The clip also showed Deepika visibly uncomfortable as she asked the person recording to stop. The incident sparked a wave of reactions. While some were thrilled to see the baby, many fans came forward to support Deepika and slammed the act of filming the child without permission.
