When Riteish Deshmukh’s kids crafted eco-friendly Ganeshas—WATCH

As Ganesh Chaturthi approaches, it’s worth revisiting a heartwarming moment from 2024 when Riteish Deshmukh shared a video that won hearts across social media.

The actor had posted a clip of his sons last year, along with their cousins, joyfully crafting eco-friendly Ganesha idols at home.

In the video, Riteish is seen patiently guiding the children through the process, showing them how to mold the clay and reminding them of the importance of keeping traditions alive in a sustainable way. Sharing the clip, he wrote, “गणपती बाप्पा मोरया!! The Deshmukh household ritual of making eco-friendly Ganeshas at home and a respectful visarjan. Kids made their own Bappa, and each one was special—खरच बाप्पा किती गोड दिसतो!”

Riteish on raising kids amid fame

Shifting to the present, Riteish recently spoke about parenting in the age of constant paparazzi attention. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he admitted that while his children often encounter photographers at their sporting events and outings, he ensures they grow up grounded. “You have to talk to the kids and ensure they don’t feel entitled,” he said. The actor also teaches them gratitude, telling his sons, “Getting clicked is an honor. When the paps ask for pictures, you thank them for clicking and move on.”

On the work front, Riteish was last seen in the thriller film 'Raid 2' and 'Housefull 5'. Also, the actor is all set to return to his popular comedy franchise, 'Masti.' The new installment will bring back the signature fun, mischief, and hilarious situations that the series is known for. Along with Riteish, the film is expected to feature his co-stars Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani, who have been part of the franchise since the beginning. Fans are eagerly waiting as the makers promise a fresh storyline packed with laughter, romance, and the quirky madness that has made Masti a cult favorite over the years.
