Amid the Covid-19 crisis, many countries were under lockdown, which separated
Sanjay Dutt and his wife
Maanayata Dutt. While Maanayata was stuck in Dubai with their kids, Iqra and Shahraan, Sanjay was in Mumbai. During that time, a throwback family portrait was shared by Sanjay on his social media handle.
Along with the picture, the actor also mentioned how much he is missing his wife and kids and wrote, "I miss them so much
To everyone who is with their families right now, cherish them!"
Talking to Etimes, Maanayata talked about not being with Sanjay Dutt and the family in those tough times.
She said, '' We were in UAE when the lockdown was imposed, so thankfully books have helped too. And since Sanjay is back home (In Mumbai), the kids often video call him and they keep themselves entertained. The boys - Sanjay and Shahraan - continue with their normal masti and they keep themselves occupied.''
It is rumored that Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata were introduced by film producer
Nitin Manmohan, and she used to cook food for him on film sets. Gradually, their relationship blossomed into love. In 2008, they were married in Goa following Hindu customs. This marriage marked Sanjay Dutt's third and reportedly Maanayata's second.
On the work front, Sanjay Dutt is now working on 'Son Of Sardaar 2'. Directed by Vijay Arora, the film also stars
Ajay Devgn and
Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.
