Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, known to speak his mind when it comes to personal and professional issues, recently opened up on his meeting with Dharmendra and how they 'almost' ended up working together.
In an interview with YouTuber Samdish Bhatia, Anurag went on to say “Bohot sweet hain aur bohot cute hain. Unse mila tha, film leke gaya tha, career ki shuruat mein, bohot pehle.

On whether he felt rejected by this, Anurag said,
"Sunny ji humare agle generation ke favourite actor they na… Unhone bol diya toh bol diya" (Sunny's word was the last). He further said,
"And also, the belief system was such, if the hero dies in the film, the film flops
.”On the workfront, Kashyap's latest,
Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat, released last week. An “ode to modern love," as Anurag calls it, the movie stars Alaya F and debutant Karan Mehta and has been garnering rave reviews from the audience.
