Ameesha Patel

Bursting onto the scene with two massive blockbusters, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000) and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), Ameesha was touted as the next big thing. Her fresh face and dramatic acting skills earned her immediate recognition. However, a string of less successful films followed, and while she still makes occasional appearances, her consistent leading lady status from the early 2000s significantly diminished.

2/5

Ayesha Takia

With her innocent charm and expressive eyes, Ayesha Takia captured hearts in films like Taarzan: The Wonder Car (2004) and earned critical acclaim for her role in Dor (2006). She had a visible presence in various films throughout the mid-2000s, including Wanted (2009) alongside Salman Khan. However, after her marriage, she largely stepped away from the film industry.

3/5

Gayatri Joshi

A "one-film wonder" who left an indelible mark, Gayatri Joshi made a stunning debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Ashutosh Gowariker's highly acclaimed Swades (2004). Her performance was widely praised, and she had the potential for a long career. However, after this single, impactful film, she chose to marry and settle down, moving away from the acting world entirely.

4/5

Gracy Singh

Known for her serene beauty and strong performances, Gracy Singh made a memorable impact with critically and commercially successful films like Lagaan (2001) opposite Aamir Khan, and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003). Despite these iconic roles, she didn't maintain a consistent presence in mainstream Bollywood, eventually moving more towards regional cinema and television.

5/5

Minissha Lamba

Debuting with Shoojit Sircar's Yahaan (2005), Minissha Lamba was appreciated for her subtle acting. She went on to star in films like Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2007) and Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), establishing herself as a familiar face in the latter half of the 2000s. While she continued with a few more projects and even appeared on reality TV, her consistent film career eventually faded.
