Who is Govind Namdev?
Born on September 3, 1954, Govind Namdev is a 71-year-old actor who primarily worked in Hindi movies. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama (NSD) 1978. He worked in the NSD repertory company for over 10 years before joining movies. He marked his acting debut as a corrupt police officer in David Dhawan's 'Shola Aur Shabnam' in 1992.The actor has worked on hundreds of movies in his career spanning over three decades. What did Govind Namdev say about unfair treatment in Bollywood?
In an interview with the Lallantop, he said, "There is a major system of big and small stars, people function as per hierarchy, in terms of salaries and treatment in the film industry." The veteran actor further shared, "If someone gets paid more, that person will get a huge vanity van, that’s how it is decided. Food hierarchy also exists on film sets.
