In the wake of

#MeToo

movement in India, many celebs have come out in the support of those who have faced any kind of sexual misconduct or abuse.


The movement gained momentum after Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of harassment on the sets of 2008 film 'Horn Ok Pleassss'. Since then, names like Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl, Alok Nath, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Kailash Kher and more have been alleged for sexual harassment.





Now, actress-director Konkona Sen Sharma took to her Twitter and released a statement wherein she stated that she along with other women filmmakers like Alankrita Shrivastava, Gauri Shinde, Kiran Rao, Reema Kagti, Meghna Gulzar, Nandita Das, Nitya Mehra, Ruchi Narain, Shonali Bose and Zoya Akhtar are in complete solidarity with the survivors. She also urged everyone from the industry to do the same.
