Yami Gautam shares pre-wedding video with sister Surilie styling her hair

Yami Gautam surprised all with her wedding announcement with filmmaker Aditya Dhar earlier this month. And since then the actress has been sharing mushy moments from her private nuptials on social media. On Sunday, the actress dedicated a post to sister Surilie Gautam, who was Yami’s pillar of support through the wedding prep. The ‘Vicky Donor’ actress had shared a pre-wedding video with Surilie styling her hair.

“From rushing to shop whatever we could (and I mean SHAADI shopping) in a span of an hour (since the city was in strict lockdown), to styling my hair & helping me create all these beautiful traditional looks that I always wanted and most importantly keeping me so entertained with your endless jokes & banter with Ojas that I never for a minute felt nervous or anxious. From our endless list making, chai drinking sessions, to your yummy cooking (including homemade milk cakes) and so many other things,” wrote Yami. The actress also expressed that she felt lucky with all the family support she has received and added, “Having a family where there is only unconditional love, strong middle-class values and traditions makes me feel very lucky & I will always choose these virtues over anything in the world. Thank you all for this love & respect.” While Surilie experimented with Yami’s hair, Govinda’s song ‘Kisi Disco Mein Jaaye’ played in the background which Yami explained as, “P.S love for 90s & Govinda sir...forever.”
Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar had informed fans about their wedding with a surprise social media post on June 4. “With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes," the couple had shared on Instagram.
