In this day and age of social media, Bollywood celebrities are increasingly becoming involved with their fans. From either sharing personal pictures or letting fans in on their daily lives or even giving them a peek at life on the film sets, these stars are playing their lives out in the social world. It is no wonder then that you have fans collectively sharing in their joys and moments of sorrow.
Over the years, celebrity weddings with all their grandeur and extravagance, are proving fairytales to be a thing of the past. As if that wasn't enough, a new trend of maternity shoots has caught on in tinsel-town with leading ladies bringing their A-game be it fashion, fitness or glamour.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was one Bollywood actress who broke all barriers and didn't let her pregnancy restrict her to the four walls of her home. Pregnant and loving every moment of it, the beautiful mommy lived it up in style from her first trimester, right up to her delivery. From shooting commercials, walking the ramp and even flaunting her bump for photoshoots, Kareena did it all. Apart from that, the star also gave fans fitness goals by adopting workout routines to stay in shape.

Celina Jaitly set tongues wagging when she stripped down to a bikini to announce that she was expecting her second set of twins. The mother of two showed off her baby bump all through her pregnancy and even posed for a sensual picture in a bathtub, which was clicked by her husband Peter Haag. The star later took to social media to announce the arrival of her twin boys Arthur Jaitly Haag and Shamsher Jaitly Haag on 10 September 2017. With a heavy heart, the actress also shared that she has lost one of her boys – Shamsher, who succumbed to a serious heart condition.

Taking a cue or two from sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, Soha Ali Khan also proudly flaunted her baby bump all through a pregnancy. Without showing any signs of slowing down, the actress lived her best life and tended to work commitments and even posed for a fashion photoshoot while heavily pregnant with her first child. The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actress joined the long list of actresses who posed for a maternity shoot and did so in pretty pink gown by Nishka Lulla. Soha sat atop a wooden table with festive decoration, as she posed for Filmfare magazine.

Lisa Haydon broke a million hearts when she surprised fans with her hush-hush beach wedding to businessman Dino Lalvani. Months later, the model-turned-actress made the happy announcement of her pregnancy in a series of pictures, showing off her baby bump in an itsy-bitsy bikini.
Post the big reveal, Lisa took Instagram to share numerous photos of her growing baby bump apart from also posting some dreamy holiday pictures.
Lisa and Dino welcomed their first child together, Zack Lalvani in May 2017.

Much like the actresses before her, Esha Deol also had her pregnancy play out in public eye. The actress and husband Bharat Takhtani left the hustle of city life behind for an enjoyable and restful vacation in Greece. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma had a wedding that was a talk of the town. Hence, when it came to her pregnancy, it was nothing short of festivities and grandeur. Apart from hosting a grand baby shower at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, the young couple also captured beautiful moments of Arpita's pregnancy with a stunning maternity photo shoot. Although hubby Aayush is quite the photographer himself, the couple called on noted photographer Avinash Gowariker to capture a few frame-worthy pictures. The monochrome pictures saw the young mommy-to-be looking radiant whilst flaunting her baby bump and hubby Aayush, planting a kiss on a forehead.
