Sonam K Ahuja's wedding heritage mansion looted, robbers still on the run

Do you remember the lavish bungalow that pronounced Anand S Ahuja and Sonam A Kapoor as husband and wife? That bungalow belongs to Sonam’s maternal aunt Kavita Singh and four months after the wedding, the same place has been robbed of goods worth lakhs. Reportedly, the incident happened late night on September 20. According to the reports, a close source said, “The family looked through the CCTV footage and figured out that on the night of Sep 20, a robber went up to the bungalows’ fourth floor, climbing with the help of window, when everyone including watchman and family members were fast asleep. Next day it was found that valuables have been stolen which included mobile phones, cash etc. The case was immediately registered at Bandra Police station and investigation is still on.”

Initially, Sonam and Anand planned to tie knots in Switzerland with around 150 guests. However, owing to the hassle of accommodation and traveling, and considering the health conditions of the families’ elderlies, the idea was dropped.

She further added, "He's not the end goal of this discussion. He's the reason why this discussion started. I want the industry to ban these people from working just to set an example for others. You can't get away with this behaviour. My fight is not with Nana Patekar or Ganesh Acharya. I don't want them to work. I want them to suffer the consequences of their actions."

After Salman Khan, petition against Katrina Kaif for allegedly laughing at his 'casteist' joke

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan who were last seen together in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ are still caught up in the controversy they stirred while promoting the film on a reality show. According to a report on ANI, a petition was filed in a Delhi court seeking to lodge an FIR against actors Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and others for allegedly making a casteist remark against Schedule Castes during the promotion of the movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The Court has listed the matter for consideration on February 27.
The complaint, filed by Harnam Singh, a former Chairman of Delhi Commission for Karamcharis, alleged that the remark was made by Khan during a programme on a television channel while Kaif, "rather than protesting at the offensive and insensitive statement, joined the accused number 1 (Khan) in insulting and abusing the victim through her conduct."
Salman had used the word ‘bhangi’ on the reality show that hurt the sentiments of Scheduled Caste communities. This was followed by an FIR against the actor and reality show judge Shilpa Shetty. Not only this, the Valmiki community had also filed a complaint against Salman in Jaipur.

Sidharth Malhotra slammed for his comments on Bhojpuri language

Sidharth was promoting his upcoming film 'Aiyaary' on a reality TV show where he was given a task of repeating dialogues from superstar Salman Khan's film in Bhojpuri. However, the actor ended up saying the language gives a "latrine kind" of feeling. Actress Neetu Chandra took to Twitter to slam Sidharth.

Neetu wrote, "So disappointed. Sidharth Malhotra, someone who is so fortunate to work with best, who despite being an outsider has made a name for himself, for you to use your words so loosely to disrespect Bhojpuri on national television. Shocked! How on earth does speaking Bhojpuri gives you a latrine feeling. Shame on you."

Reacting to the backlash, Sidharth wrote on Twitter, “I recently tried speaking a new language while I was on a TV show. In the process if I inadvertently hurt anyone’s feelings or sentiments, I apologise and assure you that no disrespect was meant in any way.”

Death threats issued to Salman Khan

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi of Rajasthan allegedly issued a death threat to Salman Khan, saying the Bollywood actor will be killed in Jodhpur. The threat gathered attention reportedly after some armed men reached the sets of Salman’s film ‘Race 3’. The shoot was apparently called off and Salman was escorted home.

Later, Vinay Rathod, deputy commissioner of police, zone XII, and Salman’s manager Jordy Patel categorically denied any shoot being stopped or the entrance or the presence of armed men at the shooting site. But Salman’s father Salim Khan said, “While I don’t know the exact details about when he left the sets, I do know that there were some threats. But Salman has a good team of security personnel. This is not the first time that he is getting such threats. In this industry, people keep getting such threats a lot.”

Allegations of plagiarism levelled against ‘Padman’

Ripu Daman Jaiswal accused the makers of 'PadMan' of taking scenes in the film from a script he had written. The writer also filed an FIR against Akshay Kumar and he alleged that he had sent a script to Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and scenes in the film have been lifted from his story. He even claimed that almost 11 scenes have been copied from his script and that he would definitely go to court. In another post, he shared a screenshot of his script and pointed out how a line from it has been borrowed directly in the film. The film’s director R. Balki refuted all such claims in an interview.

It is better for Ganesh to shut his mouth now. Nana Patekar is good enough to defend himself, let him speak.
