Filmfare Awards: Best hosts of all seasons

Through the years, many Bollywood celebrities have become recipients of the prestigious Filmfare Award at entertaining and memorable galas through the years. However, what attracts the audience are the hosts of the Filmfare Awards. From Shah Rukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor, every host has entertained the audience in their own manner. This year the Filmfare Awards will be hosted by SRK. Let's take a look at the best hosts of the Filmfare Awards.
2/7

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has almost been a constant fixture at the Filmfare Awards ever since his early years in Bollywood. The Bollywood’s Baadshah has hosted the show with numerous other co-hosts and has also anchored the event all by himself. His stints with ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ co-star Saif Ali Khan were particularly memorable, as the two charmed all with their candour and wit.
3/7

Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan joined his ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ co-star Shah Rukh Khan on-stage at the biggest awards night in Bollywood. The two rekindled their chemistry from the blockbuster film and charmed the audiences with witty takes on members of the film industry and spared no one. The award night displayed a never-before-seen side facet to Saif’s personality and he gained a tremendous following for his hosting skills.
4/7

Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma’s stint as the Filmfare Awards host scored extremely high on humour and antics. Kapil hosted the show along with Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, an interesting selection of celebs to say the least. Kapil was high on energy, and the trio was extremely spontaneous and goofy. While they poked fun at everyone from the film industry, their chemistry was very refreshing.
5/7

Priyanka Chopra

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were seen hosting the 59th Filmfare Awards. This was Priyanka's first stint at hosting the prestigious awards and she was feeling the pressure considering the standard set by other actors in previous editions. "Very few girls have hosted the awards. But yes, there is a huge pressure because Filmfare as an event has always been entertaining, funny and there has been a standard set by a lot of people, including Ranbir himself," Priyanka had said before the event. "Whether it is Shah Rukh (Khan), Saif (Ali Khan), Ranbir, Imran (Khan)... so many people who have hosted the show, they have always set the standard. So, it is scary and exciting," she had added. Priyanka surely held her own at the gala.
6/7

Ranbir Kapoor

Fresh off his first few successes in B-town, Ranbir Kapoor made his way to the Filmfare stage as a host along with Imran Khan. The young pair took over from Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan and managed to fit into their shoes very well. Their new-age brash brand of humour did not spare anyone from their comedy. Ranbir later returned to host the show with his ‘Barfi’ co-star Priyanka Chopra and enjoyed his time on the big stage.
7/7

Imran Khan

Bollywood’s quintessential chocolate boy Imran Khan made his debut as the host for Filmfare Awards along with fellow gen-next star Ranbir Kapoor. The two replaced SRK-Saif after delivering a few mega hits at the box-office. Imran provided the perfect foil for Ranbir’s overstated delivery, with his subtle timing and class. The two ru riot with their impeccable chemistry and the audience was left pleasantly in splits.
