Happy New Year Box Office report

He's the badshah of Bollywood and he has proved it once again. SRK's big Diwali release Happy New Year (HNY) has been going steady at the Box Office. HNY has broken many records at the BO and now the movie has beaten Salman Khan's Kick. According to a report on Koimoi.com, Happy New Year has made Rs. 289 crores gross at the India box office and the film has collected 15 million in the Overseas market, thus grossing 379 crores worldwide. Shah Rukh's film has beaten the worldwide collections of Kick and Krrish 3.

Happy New Year is going steady at the Box Office. Farah Khan's big Diwali release was one of the fastest films to make Rs.100 crores at the Domestic Box Office. Now on its 15th day, this movie stands at a total collection of Rs. 194.50 crores at the domestic Box Office, as per a report on Koimoi.com. The movie had done good business in the Overseas market too and seems to be soon inching towards the Rs 200 crore mark. Further to reports on Koimoi.com, after Chennai Express, this will be SRK's second film to make Rs. 200 crores.

'Happy New Year' has broken many records in the overseas market, including that of 'Bang Bang'. Now it seems the badshah of Bollywood has surpassed his earlier films.

A report on Koimoi.com says that HNY has become the 7th highest grossing film in the overseas market, jumping straight from the 10th position to the 7th. Further to reports on Koimoi.com, HNY has beaten Don 2's record which had collected $11,750,000 and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna which had raked in $10,770,000.

Not only that, Shah Rukh's film has also beaten Salman's Kick which had made $11,100,000 million overseas.

Shah Rukh Khan's big Diwali release Happy New Year (HNY) is breaking many records at the box office. The latest on its list is the Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang, which released on October 2, 2014. While Bang Bang opened to mixed reviews, the film did well at the domestic box office. According to a report on Koimoi.com, Bang Bang's lifetime domestic box office collections stood at Rs 181.03 crores. But this figure has now been beaten by Happy New Year, which has collected a total of Rs 183.50 crores at the domestic box office. Further to reports on Koimoi.com, Shah Rukh's film is second only to Salman's Kick which has been the highest grosser of 2014 with a total collection of Rs 233 crores at the domestic box office.
