HNY has broken many records at the BO and now the movie has beaten Salman Khan's Kick. According to a report on Koimoi.com, Happy New Year has made Rs. 289 crores gross at the India box office and the film has collected 15 million in the Overseas market, thus grossing 379 crores worldwide. Shah Rukh's film has beaten the worldwide collections of Kick and Krrish 3.

The movie had done good business in the Overseas market too and seems to be soon inching towards the Rs 200 crore mark.
