Shah Rukh Khan sure knows how to wow the audience. The superstar, who was the host of the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017, set the stage on fire with his opening act. SRK made a dashing entry on the stage on a harness and then went on to perform to the song ‘Zaalima’ from his upcoming film ‘Raees’.

Veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Rekha were caught sharing a rather cute moment at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017. A candid picture of the two has emerged, where Rishi can be seen kissing the gorgeous actress’ hand, as she lovingly looks at him. Ranbir Kapoor’s father who essayed the adorable and progressive grandfather in one of 2016’s biggest hits ‘Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921)’, bagged the Filmfare Award in the Best Supporting Actor (Male) category for the movie.

Alia Bhatt paid tribute to Bollywood’s evergreen divas

Alia Bhatt who had two nominations in the Best Actor (Female) category, walked home with the Black Lady for her performance in ‘Udta Punjab’. She was the first star to perform on-stage and wow the audience at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards. Her spunky act was the talk of the evening. She paid tribute to the evergreen actresses of Bollywood. Alia began the act with an ode to her favourite Kareena Kapoor Khan as she danced to ‘Yeh ishq haye’ from ‘Jab We Met’. She later shook it to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ‘Nimbooda’ and Sridevi’s ‘Na jaane kahan se aayi hai’. Her act also included tributes to Madhuri Dixit Nene and Karisma Kapoor.

When ‘Sultan’ Salman Khan took centre stage

Salman Khan was a treat for sore eyes at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards. The superstar slipped into a shimmery black suit for his performance. He performed to a medley of his all time popular tracks, including ‘Oh oh jaane jaana’, Munni Badnaam hui’, ‘Selfie le le re’ and the recent ‘Baby ko bass pasand hai’. The crowd went berserk seeing their favourite Khan shake a leg to his career best songs. He also danced to the title track of his 2016 hit ‘Sultan’.

Ask any woman and she will tell you that it’s hard to escape Shah Rukh Khan’s charm. The actor, who has millions of women across the country swooning over him, dialed up his charm as the host of the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017. The high point was when he serenaded Shabana Azmi, when she came on stage to collect her award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. The duo shook a leg together to SRK’s popular romantic ballad ‘Janam janam’ from ‘Dilwale’.

Alia Bhatt, who had a glorious run in 2016, capped it off with the perfect ending – the 23-year-old actress took home the Black Lady for Best Actor (Female) for her gritty performance in ‘Udta Punjab’ at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017. The award was presented to her by the gorgeous Sridevi and her filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor. In her acceptance speech, Alia even mentioned that it’s an honour to receive the award from a talented actress like Sridevi.

You know you’re in for a laugh riot when you have Bollywood’s wittiest actor Shah Rukh Khan and India’s most loved stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma coming together. The duo had the audience in splits with their funny banter at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017. Of course, the high point of the evening was when the two had a qawwali face-off. Karan Johar joined the two during the qawwali face-off and only added to the madness.

And that’s exactly what happened at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017 as the good-looking actress burnt the dance floor with her moves. Dressed in a statement-making fringed white outfit, Sona had the crowd cheering her on as she grooved to a medley of numbers – starting from ‘Dil cheez tujhe de di’ from ‘Airlift’ to ‘Let’s nacho’ from ‘Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921)’.

The 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017 was a night of fashion and glamour. A proud moment for veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha

Shatrughan Sinha, who completed close to five decades in the film industry, was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017. Celebrated actor Amitabh Bachchan, veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai and Shatrughan’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha came together to present the award. In his acceptance speech, Shatrugan Sinha said, “Many people feel if you get a lifetime achievement award, then it’s the end of your career, but I feel this is just the beginning of a new leg for me.”
