The Kapoor family is known for their love for food and Karisma Kapoor's instagram picture makes it evident. Saif Ali Khan along with brother-in-law Ranbir Kapoor and uncle-in-law Kunal Kapoor cooked food together in the kitchen. While, Karisma and Kareena embraced each other and posed for the camera.
We have also heard that Saif Ali Khan has developed a newly found love for cooking ever since he started working on his upcoming film ‘Chef’. This quality time at home surely seems to interest the actor. The Kapoor daughters had recently celebrated their dad Randhir Kapoor's 70th birthday. On the work front, Saif Ali Khan is all set for the release of ‘Rangoon’ whereas Ranbir Kapoor is working on the Sanjay Dutt biopic.

Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor rang in his 69th birthday on February 15, 2016. The Kapoor Khandaan, including Randhir's daughters, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor were present at the bash. While Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, too, were photographed at the do, their son and Randhir's nephew, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor decided to give the gathering a miss. The obvious assumption behind his absence was that he was avoiding company post his alleged break-up with Katrina Kaif, but turns out that wasn’t the case. According to reports, the actor was busy shooting for his upcoming flick, 'Jagga Jasoos' with Katrina and hence couldn't make it to the party.

You know what happened this Christmas, apart from the usual celebrations and merriment? Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor posed together as a couple for the shutterbugs, something they seldom do. Kunal Kapoor, who was last seen on-screen in 1985, as Kapitan Ribeiro Governor in Shyam Benegal's Trikal, was cajoled by Ashvini Yardi to face the camera again, in Akshay Kumar-starrer, Singh Is Bliing. He played Amy Jackson's dad in the film. Ashvini succeeded where Salman Khan had failed. While they were shooting Jai Ho! in Romania, Salman had tried to convince Kunal, who was line-producing the film in Europe for him, to return to acting but Kunal had laughed it off. However, Ashvini who's an old friend and has done a commercial with him earlier, refused to take 'no' for an answer. In a Mumbai Mirror report, Kunal has been quoted as saying that, "She convinced me by using her charm and twisting my arm," he guffaws. Kunal admits that while there have been plenty of offers earlier too, it was easy for him to shrug them off because he was always more interested in editing and directing. "Direction, in particular, I did not miss acting at all."

Kareena Kapoor Khan shares a great bond with Ranbir Kapoor. It is always a delight to hear them talk about each other. In an interview, Kareena spoke about Ranbir’s career and about his films not doing great at the box office. When asked if RK is affected by his film's debacle, she denied saying that there's no reason for him to be depressed. She added that he doesn't need anybody's advice. While acknowledging that ups and downs are a part of life, Kareena said that Ranbir's talent is his biggest weapon. The loving sister is sure that the Kapoor lad will rise like a phoenix, the report concluded.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was in Malaysia to inaugurate a jewellery store, received a special surprise from her fan. According to reports, a girl, who runs ‘kareenakapoorafc’ fan club on Twitter, travelled for almost nine hours by bus to meet Kareena! The actress was more than happy to meet her crazy fan. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the Kapoor khandaan met at a Chinese eatery in Bandra to bring in Randhir Kapoor's 68th birthday. Daughter Kareena and son-in-law Saif Ali Khan were the first to arrive at 9:30 pm, followed by brother Rishi and sister-in-law Neetu, the report stated. “We ate, drank and laughed," the report quoted Rishi. Further the report quoted Randhir, “It was a small celebration with family and close friends. I'm glad everyone showed up. The last year went off well and I'm content. This year, I want my children, Lolo and Bebo, to always be smiling." Poonam Dhillon, was accompanied by her children, Anmol and Paloma Thakeria. “I was a surprise guest. Every year, Randhir comes to all my parties but I only wish him on the phone. So this year, I stopped by," Poonam beamed to Mirror. Shashi Kapoor's son Kunal came with son, Zahan Prithviraj Kapoor. According to a Bombay Times report, Raj Kapoor’s grandson Armaan Jain, who made his debut in Lekar Hum Deewana Dil in 2014, has bagged his second film. The reports states that, Armaan will play one of the key characters in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Jis Lahore Nahin Dekhya Woh Jamiya Hi Nahin. It has also been reported earlier that Manisha Koirala and Pankaj Kapur are other actors who have been signed on for pivotal roles in this Partition drama.

While Armaan is slowly inching towards establishing his Bollywood career, here's taking a look at some less popular members of the Kapoor khandaan.

The fourth grandchild of the legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor ventured into Bollywood with his film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. As the whole Kapoor clan cheered Armaan Jain at the music launch and premiere of his film, it was evident that the Kapoors will continue to rule the Indian film industry for ages. Saluting the biggest filmy family of Bollywood which boasts of daughter-in-laws and sons-in-laws from all faiths and walks of life, we introduce the lesser known members of B-town’s Kapoor khandaan.

Rima Jain: Rima Jain is Armaan Jain’s mother and youngest daughter of Raj Kapoor. She resembles her brother Randhir Kapoor and is married to businessman Mohan Jain. Besides Armaan, they have another son Aadhar Jain who is younger to Armaan. While Armaan debuted with the film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, Aadhar is also in line to make his career in films and is gearing up for a break in Bollywood.

Riddhima Kapoor: Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor is Ranbir Kapoor’s sister. While Ranbir and her parents are actors, Riddhima chose interior designing and is now married to Delhi based businessman Bharat Sahani. She also has a three-year-old daughter Samara. Beautiful like her cousins Karisma and Kareena, Riddhima however keeps away from the limelight and is currently endorsing a jewellery brand with her mom Neetu Singh.

Sanjana Kapoor: Sashi Kapoor’s daughter Sanjana Kapoor took charge of Prithvi Theater and kept it running before giving up the responsibility in 2012. After divorcing director Aditya Bhattacharya, the gorgeous Sanjana married wildlife conservationist Valmik Thapar and has a son Hameer. In a brief Bollywood stint, she also starred in films like 36 Chowringhee Lane, Utsav, Salaam Bombay besides playing the leading lady in Hero Hiralal.

Ritu Nanda: Ritu Nanda is Armaan Jain’s maternal aunt and the CEO of life insurance company Escolife. She stands out in a family of Bollwood actors and filmmakers and has been named in the Guinness Book of Records for selling 17,000 pension policies in one day. She also runs other companies - Ritu Nanda Insurance Services and Rimari Corporate art services. Married to industrialist of India Rajan Nanda, Ritu Nanda is the mother of Nikhil Nanda and Natasha Nanda. She is the mother-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Nanda.

Karan Kapoor: In the huge family of all faiths and races, Armaan has another handsome uncle in Karan Kapoor. Karan draws his English looks from his late mother Jennifer Kendal and made it big in the modeling world by endorsing Bombay Dyeing's Vivaldi shirts. He did try his luck in films and featured in films like Junoon, 36 Chowringhee Lane, Sultanat, Loha and Afsar. He also played a prominent role in British television series The Jewel in the Crown. Karan is married to Lorna and has two kids - Aliya Kapoor and Zachary Kapoor.

Nikhil Nanda: Nikhil Nanda is Armaan Jain’s cousin and heads the leading agricultural machinery company Escorts Limited. He is married to Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan since fifteen years and is the father of two kids: Agastya Nanda and Navya Naveli. While he hails from a family of actors, he is a contrast by being among five Indians who were selected as the Global Leaders of Tomorrow by World Economic Forum, Geneva in 2001.

Neila Devi: Neila Devi is the second wife of Armaan Jain’s maternal grandfather's brother Shammi Kapoor. They married after the untimely death of his first wife Geeta Bali. He was last seen in Rockstar’ with grandson Ranbir Kapoor before he passed away. Geeta Bali did not have any kids of her own so that she could pay attention to his two kids Aditya and Kanchan. She is often seen in the company of her sister-in-law Krishna Raj Kapoor and son Aditya Raj Kapoor.

Aditya Raj Kapoor: Shammi Kapoor’s son Aditya Raj Kapoor is Armaan Jain’s maternal uncle. He was the assistant director in Rishi Kapoor’s film Bobby, Dharam Karam and controversial blockbuster Satyam Shivam Sundaram. He is married to Priti (technically his first cousin as she is the daughter of Neila’s Devi’s sister). He has two kids - Vishwapratap Raj Kapoor and Tulsi Kapoor. Giving up films, he later joined Escorts with Rajan Nanda who went on to marry his sister Ritu Nanda.

Kanchan Desai: Armaan Jain’s maternal aunt Kanchan Kapoor is the daughter of Shammi Kapoor. She is married to businessman Ketan Desai who is the son of popular late producer-director Manmohan Desai. They have two daughters - Pooja and Raj Rajeshwari who are very close to their cousin Tulsi (Aditya Raj Kapoor's daughter).

Kunal Kapoor: Armaan Jain’s maternal uncle Kunal Kapoor is the oldest son of his grandfather Shashi Kapoor. Shashi Kapoor was married to English actress Jennifer Kendal who passed away at the age of 51 due to cancer. Kunal was married to filmmaker Ramesh Sippy’s daughter Sheena but the two are now separated. They have two kids - Zahan Prithviraj Kapoor and Shaira Laura Kapoor. Before moving to ad film direction, he starred in the English film Siddhartha and in the Shyam Benegal film Junoon which also had his parents and siblings among the cast members. He was also seen in Ahista Ahista, Vijeta, Utsav and Trikal and currently runs one of the leading production houses - Adfilm- Valas.

Rajiv Kapoor: Rajiv Kapoor is the youngest son of Raj Kapoor and he is often seen hanging around with his brother Randhir Kapoor. He is known for his role in the film Ram Teri Ganga Maili but that proved to be his only big break in Bollywood. He married architect Aarti Sabharwal in 2001 but divorced two years later. He has worked as a producer, director, writer, editor and was seen in several films like Ek Jaan Hai Hum, Aasmaan, Lover Boy and Zimmedaar. He also produced Henna and Aa Ab Laut Chalen and directed Prem Granth which had his brothers’ presence as director or producer.
