Salman Khan Films was recently awarded the Marketing Innovation Award for 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan.' Now that the 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' actor has bulked up for the role in his upcoming film, Sultan, he is completely capable of taking on any Hollywood star in the looks department. Freedom 251 bears a close resemblance to the iPhone and yet comes for less than 1/10th its price. While it is made of plastic, the phone seems sturdy. What's interesting is that the phone also comes imprinted with the Indian flag. Sounds like Bollywood's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has his role cut out for the TV commercial.

Shah Rukh Khan is immensely popular with the masses. His films fetch great numbers at the box-office. Dubbed as the 'marketing whiz' of the industry, it isn't difficult to figure out as to why the makers would want Shah Rukh to represent the brand. Add to that Shah Rukh's humble beginnings and the meteoric rise to superstardom later, the brand would only be sending out a rather positive message to its potential buyers. Shah Rukh is also rather tech savvy and is often the first one from the film fraternity to try out a new app or feature. This will only add to his appeal as the official brand ambassador of the brand.

Kangana Ranaut stormed the industry and managed to enthrall with every performance. She has emerged as one of the most promising faces of the industry and this is precisely why she would be a perfect face to endorse the brand that seems likely to change the manner in which India communicates with each other. Freedom 251 is a dual-SIM smartphone with 3G support and is packed with features. Additionally, the phone has been making headlines as soon as it was launched. Kangana, too, is always in the news for her bold statements.

Just like Sunny Leone, the phone, too, will have to prove itself before it is accepted in India. Priced at Rs 251, a lot of skeptics are writing the gadget off without even using it. However, the makers would want to consider a face as popular as Sunny's to market the product to its target audience. Sunny has driven certain films at the box-office all by herself and there should be no reason as to why she wouldn't be able to help the phone's viability.

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian's 'break the internet' picture went viral within minutes of going online. Same is the case with the phone. No sooner was it up for sale, the site crashed. A message posted on the site declared, "Dear friends, we are very grateful for your enormous response and your kind patronage and would submit that as of now we receive approx 6 Lacs hits per second as a result of which due to your kind overwhelming response servers are over loaded." Now, wouldn't Kim be the perfect face to promote a product that caused a frenzy similar to the one caused by her picture.
