Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali collaborated in the early 2000s for the remarkable film 'Devdas'. Well, those who are keen to see the two working together again will, unfortunately, have to wait for a longer time now.

According to reports, Shah Rukh apparently turned down two offers by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Apparently, a year ago the superstar had said that he was in talks with SLB for two films, one being a period piece. Now, it has come to light that due to prior work commitments, King Khan might not be able to work with the filmmaker anytime soon. Interestingly, one of the roles he turned down was that of the fearsome Sultan Alauddin Khilji from 'Padmaavat', which later went to Ranveer Singh. However, in spite of all this, there is no bad blood between the two and they still remain good friends.

Each female employee in his team was reportedly gifted beautiful red roses, a designer handbag and a high-end smartphone. Some of them even got the golden lockets that he sported in ‘Raees’. Turns out, these gifts were handpicked by SRK himself. The girls walked into the office on Valentine’s Day to see these extravagant gifts laid out for them. Naturally, most of them were overwhelmed by Shah Rukh’s heart-warming gesture.

Trust King Khan to go the extra mile for his team and make them feel special. After all, the superstar, who is a doting dad and a caring husband, leaves no stone unturned to shower his near and dear ones with all the love and luxury.

It's been 19 years since Shah Rukh Khan danced on top of a moving train in ‘Dil Se’ and ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ still gives Khan’s fans a high.

SRK who recently took the promotions of his film ‘Raees’ on a moving train, spoke about the inside story on the making of ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’. He revealed that while shooting for the song, the dancers were tied to the train for protection. However the Baadshah was left loose as the sequence demanded him to jump.

Shah Rukh said, "The dancers were all tied down that's why it was very difficult. The train was slow, but many times, those overhead bridges use to come and there was no communication like how you have those speakers now. I remember Farah Khan and the rest of the crew carried a white cloth. Every time they put it up it meant stop the song and just bend down. It was very scary. Because even when you lie down it was like you could literally feel the bridge pass over you. That song was shot guerrilla style. The train would stop and suddenly start. It was very difficult to shoot the song. It was fun but not without its difficulties." Quite a dare-devil!

He is not called the King Khan for nothing. People who are even remotely associated with Shah Rukh Khan vouch that the superstar can go out of his way to ensure that his family, friends, colleagues and associates are given the best of the treatment and facilities and Virat Kohli happens to be one of those lucky ones. The superstar cricketer recently visited Prague to meet his ladylove Anushka Sharma who is shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for director Imitiaz Ali's next which is tentatively titled, 'The Ring'. While one expected Anushka to play the perfect host to her beau, it was SRK who did the needful. As per the reports, the superstar ensured that Virat, during his stay in Prague, got the best of the facilities and even ensured that all the necessary arrangements were done for the same. SRK asked his team to provide the best of facilities to the cricket heartthrob. In fact, after wrapping up the shoot, both SRK and Virat would indulge in long conversation on cricket, cinema and more. Needless to say both Virat and Anushka were mighty impressed with SRK's awesome hospitality!

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming periodic drama ‘Padmavati’. When it is not the shuffling cast and their hefty paychecks making news, it is the drama surrounding the film and its leading cast – Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Latest reports doing the rounds state that Shah Rukh Khan, who was believed to have been approached to play Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, thought of an interesting excuse to turn down the film. According to an online portal, the Bollywood Badshah hiked up his fees and as the demand was ‘way too high’, SBL was forced to look for other options. Shah Rukh is currently the highest earning Bollywood actor and had even made it to the Forbes ‘highest paid actors’ list. He is also running on a tight filming schedule that includes Imtiaz Ali’s ‘The Ring’ and Anand L Rai’s untitled romantic drama.

We all are aware of Shah Rukh Khan's love for his hover board and interestingly, his co-star Anushka Sharma has also been bitten by the same bug. Spotted on the sets of their forthcoming film 'The Ring', directed by Imtiaz Ali, the duo was seen having a swell time on the hover board when they were not shooting. Here’s some good news for all Shah Rukh Khan fans. The actor has revealed the release dates of his upcoming films – Imtiaz Ali’s ‘The Ring’ and Anand L Rai’s next – and it is closer than you think. The Bollywood Badshah, who started shooting for Imtiaz’ romantic drama over the weekend, in Prague, has said that the film will wrap up by October. SRK will be seen romancing Anushka Sharma for the second time in this film that is being slated for a mid-2017 release. He will begin work on Anand L Rai’s next love-story, which will see him playing a part of a dwarf. Director Rai recently said that the film’s script is still in works and that he has yet to finalise his leading lady. While the director is racing against time to get things done before the film goes on floors in November, Shah Rukh’s team is reportedly looking for a Christmas release. Unlike the other Khans, Shah Rukh will have three film releases in 2017, which will begin with the political drama ‘Raees’ on January 27. Three releases, with three very different roles at regular intervals; what more can the fans ask for?

Shah Rukh Khan is known for his wit and tongue-in-cheek humor and just when we think that he cannot get any wittier or cooler, he goes on and does this. King Khan just retweeted the AIB Pokemon Go spoof that has been doing rounds on social media which features a scene from his hit film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' only with a Pikachu imposed on Jaya Bachchan's head and captioned it saying, "This is quite close to how I would feel and then of course capture it." After playing a smart don, a cunning gangster, an obsessed fan, Shah Rukh Khan will now be seen playing a dwarf. Yes, it’s official! The actor will be essaying the role of a dwarf in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming project. Rai confirmed the news to PTI saying, “It (story) sounds like it is just about a dwarf but it is much more than that. It is a much taller film. It is a very entertaining and interesting love story.” The director then went on to add that he’d be a “fool” is he does not have romance and songs in a Shah Rukh film. While no one has been locked as the leading lady, rumours suggest that Kangana is being considered for the role.

How Shah Rukh Khan helped a small nation rediscover love?


According to a report on Tribune.com.pk Hugo Garcia, a young protocol officer with the ministry of foreign affairs of Timor-Leste (one of the world’s newest nations perched between Indian Ocean and the Pacific), said the road to their freedom was long and traumatic and that Timorese knew about love, but they had forgotten it in the midst of conflict. It was Bollywood and especially Shah Rukh Khan who taught them the real meaning of love. The report further states that it was in 1999 that Timorese first got a taste of Bollywood films. Garcia elaborated that an Indian architect came there and promoted Indian movies and that they had only one movie hall and he managed to show them Kuch Kuch Hota Hai while the two other Shah Rukh Khan movies to follow were Dil To Pagal Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The officer asserted that Shah Rukh Khan ruled their hearts by that time and that he was clearly the king of romance. After seeing these movies during their dark hours, they got to understand the meaning of love. He also stated the movies showed them how to respect a woman, taught them about sacrifice and be courageous.

Shah Rukh Khan flaunts his chiselled body and envious abs in almost all his films. The actor's trainer, Prashan Sawant, describes him as a solid sportsman who happily trains even at 2 am. In an interview with Pinkvilla.com, Prashant was quoted as saying that SRK has no bad eating habits and that he loves chicken. He further adds that the actor includes chicken in all his meals. Shah Rukh Khan makes for a great pair with Kajol and the two are one of the most sought-after on-screen jodis of Bollywood. The two are currently in Iceland, shooting for a song for SRK's Christmas release, Dilwale. The Rohit Shetty directorial has been in the news ever since the lead pair of the film was finalised. While there, SRK jumped at the opportunity to click a selfie with Kajol's mother, Tanuja, whom he refers to as Tanu aunty. Shah Rukh's caption indicates that Tanuja was his father's favourite actress. He wrote, "With my fathers favourite actress...."The Ber (berries) Liyo, Meva Gareebon Ka Babe" song...Tanujaji...Tanu aunty." [sic]

Shah Rukh Khan is a happy man. The actor, who is shooting for Dilwale in Bulgaria, rued the fact that he couldn't attend the match. However, he was still happy with his team's victory. An ecstatic Shah Rukh took to Twitter to express his joy. He wrote "I am dancing alone in my hotel room, but what the hell bring on the beat...V R THE CHAMPS. T&T & KKR...u can't touch this! There's no place i'd rather be than dancing with T&T. True and unbridled happiness. The trophy is beautiful. Please somebody post me the picture of the Cup!!! Three babies...I was one short...phew!! Shah Rukh Khan had a deja-vu moment recently when shooting a sequence for his upcoming film, Fan, as reported by Indiaglitz.com. The report states that the superstar who had earlier shot a scene for the film, Deewana, on Marine Drive couldn't help but go down the memory lane when shooting there again. There was a huge crowd gathered on the Marine Drive to catch a glimpse of SRK as he shot for the film and hence he had to be rushed back into the vanity van after every shot. However, when Shah Rukh had last shot there, he used to while his time away by the sea, till the next shot was ready. He was reportedly seen getting nostalgic about the city and the manner in which it has changed over the years.

Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood’s King Khan once tried his hand at a small restaurant business in Dariya Ganj but couldn't succeed. Surprisingly, his first salary was Rs 50 which he earned by working as an usher at Pankaj Udhas's concert in Delhi. When he signed Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa as an actor, he completed the entire film for Rs. 25,000 only. Even on the opening day, he sold this film’s tickets at the booking window of a Mumbai cinema!

Actor-producer Vivek Vaswani is known as SRK's mentor in Bollywood. During his struggling days, Shah Rukh had no place to stay in Mumbai so he lived with Vivek, who later helped him meet industry people and helped him get into Yash Chopra’s camp. According to Vivek, he tried his best to push SRK out of his house but failed. However, he says whatever he may have done for him in the past, he did as a friend. “You do things for friends, simple, and hence it was nothing really too great. Anyone would have done what I did. I am proud to be his friend,” stated Vivek in an interview.

Shah Rukh rose to fame by playing negative characters in his earlier films and even inspired his peers to play anti-hero roles. Interestingly, when Baazigar released, everyone discouraged him saying that his career is over in the industry. “Even my best well-wishers told me you can’t be a hero again since you've killed a woman. But it paid-off. In the long run, everything is sustainable, if you stick to it,” said Shah Rukh. No doubt, the film left many Indian viewers shocked because it didn't adhere to the typical Bollywood formula. Nonetheless, the film raked in huge moolah and SRK again came out a winner.

Shah Rukh is very particular about his fashion and lifestyle. Known for having a classy sense of style, he prefers wearing black. “It's easier since no one can tell if I am repeating a garment. I have a fetish about the fit of my jeans and the clothes I sleep in. They have to be of a certain material. Also, as soon as I have worn my jeans after a bath, I wear my shoes and socks. I don’t take them off till I am in bed. I never wear slippers. My feet should always be covered. Sometimes even when I am lying on the bed, I wear shoes.” He likes to match his socks with his shoes not with his trousers.
