Indra Kumar’s adventure-comedy Total Dhamaal is the third installment of the Dhamaal franchise, starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Esha Gupta and Anil Kapoor.

With this film, Anil-Madhuri will be working together again after 17 years (Beta, 1992, was the last film they did together). At the time of going to press, the makers had only released two tracks, both recreated versions of yesteryear super hits with added lyrics by
Kunwar Juneja.

aka Gourov-Roshin have come a long way since the bouquet of eight original songs they had created over a decade ago for their debut movie album, 'Dus Kahaniyaan'. Post that, there have been many recreated and remixed songs, including 'Hawa Hawa' ('Mubarakan'), 'Saara Zamana' ('Kaabil') and 'Beparwah' ('Munna Michael').

In Total Dhamaal, the duo has remade the iconic Paisa Yeh Paisa from the 1980s musical chartbuster, Karz, sung by the legend Kishore Kumar. Gourov, a brilliant guitarist who used to play with many heavy metal rock bands, has used his skills in this track that could also be called the theme song of the film. Dev Negi, Subhro Ganguly and Arpita Chakraborty do justice to this party number.

The composers have recreated 'Mungda

Mungda

' from 'Inkaar', a Rajesh Roshan classic with lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri. The new version of 'Mungda' is a dance track with rap by Gourov. The composers have taken away the folkish sounds and given it a contemporary soundscape. The song has Sonakshi Sinha in a special appearance and is not a patch on the four-decade-old original. The singers Jyotica Tangri, Shaan and Subhro Ganguly are, however, applaud worthy.
