Indian-American singer Shannon K in collaboration with Shaan has come up with a pop single, 'Baby I Love You' which has already crossed an impressive number of views, and both singers are on cloud nine.
While ETimes had a freewheeling chat with both the singers, Shannon K shared that the director who worked on the video passed away just before the release of the single. Shaan was completely shocked to know about it. "We lost Shruti Vohra just before releasing the song and it was a shock for us. But I really want to come out of this, and 'Baby I Love You' is for her. Shruti and her team did extremely well on the sets. I really do miss her right now," Shannon K expressed.
Shaan wanted to know what happened to Shruti suddenly as she was all fine while they shot for the video. "Did she have an accident? She was a bundle of joy on the sets," Shaan said to which Shannon replied, "She was going through something internally for which she also had surgery in Delhi which did not go so well and therefore she went for another one which she couldn't survive. It was indeed a shock for me because I had come down to India for the song release and was preparing for it when this happened, unfortunately."
Shaan expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. He said, "May her soul rest in peace, and may god give strength to her family and we hope she is in a better place now," he said.
