“Ki haal hai Mumbai!” he greeted, as the crowd went berserk, “Mujhe pata hai baki cities se bhi aayein hain log aaj yahan. Aap jahan se bhi aayein hai, bahut, bahut shukriya aapka. Thank you aap sab mere show pe aayein.”

Fans were then treated to an unforgettable experience as Diljit belted out his chart-topping hits, including his Chamkeela Songs, Born To Shine, GOAT, Do You Know, Naina, Lover, Kinni Kinni, Lalkaara, Ikk Kudi, and Hass Hass. He also sang and danced to Khuda Gawah and Choli Ke Peeche.

The two-hour show, with a 15-minute intermission, had it all—an immersive spectacle, complete with massive screens, confetti cannons, CO2 and smoke special effects, a dazzling laser show, and pyrotechnics that lit up the night.

The atmosphere remained electric throughout, with fans of all ages grooving to his beats, energetic dancers in traditional, colorful Punjabi ensembles and pagdi accompanied Diljit on stage, adding vibrant energy to his performance. At one point, Diljit interacted with one of his masked dancers, humorously checking if she was okay and could breathe with her mask on.

Diljit also spoke about the advisory issued against him ahead of his Mumbai concert. The actor-singer assured fans to not worry and promised double the fun. “Aaj pata chala advisory jaari ho gayi mere khilaf, phir se. Aap sab jab tak mere saath hain, yahi meri strength hai. Jitni marzi advisory jaari ho jaye mere khilaf, I don’t care about that. Aaap phikar na karein. Saaari advisrory mere upar hai. Aaj main promise karta hoon aap jitna maza karein aayein hain, main double maza karke dunga aapko.”

The singer-actor not only mesmerized with his music but also engaged with the audience, inviting fans on stage, dancing with them, holding the mic for them to croon a line, reading out the fan posters, showering the audience with gifts—including his signature dark glasses, three of his jackets, and even two luggage bags—and sharing heartfelt insights.

In a reflective moment, he spoke about staying fearless in the face of criticism and dealing with negativity, referencing the story of Lord Shiva from Indian mythology to inspire resilience: “Life will throw as much poison as it wants; never let it enter you. Let it stay outside, enjoy life, and don’t let anyone disturb your peace.” He said, “Aaj subah jab main yoga kar raha tha, baada accha khayal aaya and aaj aapke show ki shuruat uss thought se karta hoon. Jab saagar manthan hua thaa, amrit devtao ne piya, lekin jo wish tha, jo zahar tha, woah Shivji ne piya. Aur Shivji woah zahar apne andar nahi leke gaye – unhone usse apne kanth tak rakkhaa, isliya unhe hum Neelkanth bhi kehtein hain. Toh mujhe yehi sikhne mila ki zindagi mein, duniya aap pe jitna marzi zehar phekein, aap usko kabhi bhi andar mat leke jao. Aap apne kaam mein kami nahi aane do. Log aapko rokenge, tokenge, jitne marzi zor laga lein, lekin aap apne aap ko andar se disturb na hone de. Enjoy karein, maza karein.”
