Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, who performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival a year later, humbly expressed that he didn't consider himself a deserving candidate for the globally renowned event.
Speaking on The Ranveer Show, Diljit said that he wasn't a deserving candidate and believed that it was God's will. The singer further added, "I feel like I'm not that great a musician, but I end up getting good opportunities. I haven't learned acting from anywhere, yet I'm working with Imtiaz Ali. I had never imagined I'd do a film with him. Maybe it happened because of Chamkila. He gave me that chance. Imtiaz Ali signing Diljit Dosanjh isn't necessary. There are so many others whom he can hire."
Diljit was included in the day 2 lineup of the first weekend, sharing the stage with global music icons like Blackpink, Charli XCX, Labrinth, and Kid Laroi.
The singer impressed the audience with his performances of popular tracks like 'G.O.A.T.', 'Patiala Peg', and 'Lemonade'. Backed by a dynamic live band and a vibrant bhangra dance troupe, his stage presence was captivating. Notably, during the song 'Patiala Peg', the American music producer and DJ Diplo were seen grooving to the beats amidst the crowd. Diljit shared a video of this moment on his Instagram Stories, showcasing the universal appeal of his music.
On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh will be next seen in 'Amar Singh Chamkila' and 'No Entry 2'.
