Fans call Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘memorable meeting’ the ‘first unexpected collaboration of 2025’

While several celebrities ringed in their New Year with an abroad vacation, global icon Diljit Dosanjh celebrated the on-set of his 2025 by having a ‘memorable meeting’ with honorable Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The pictures and videos of the same are doing rounds on social media. PM Modi and Diljit Dosanjh also shared a glimpse of their meeting on social media in a joint post with the caption - “A very memorable interaction! Here are the highlights…”

Praising Diljit, PM Modi during their interaction said, "When a boy from a small village in 'Hindustan' shines on the global stage, it feels amazing. Your family named you Diljit, and you keep on winning people's hearts, just as your name suggests."

Diljit responded, "We used to read that 'Mera Bharat Mahan' (My India is great), but when I traveled across India, I realized why people say this." Further, reflecting on Prime Minister’s journey, Diljit said, "I had watched your interview, sir. The position of Prime Minister is great, but behind it, there is a mother, a son, and a human being. Many times, this half-truth is much larger when you carry your mother and the sacred Ganga with you. That touches the heart."
