Vidya Balan as a wanted criminal, but '
Mehram
', a recently-released song from the thriller that is presented by Jayantilal Gada (PEN), portrays the actress in a different light.
Vidya says, 'Mehram', which means the loved one, blends beautifully with the theme of the film. The song captures beautiful moments between me and Naisha, who is a charming girl in real life. We bonded so well during the shoot that she has actually become my mehram now.'
Director
Sujoy Ghosh couldn't agree more. He says, 'The shoot became much easier because of Vidya's and Naisha's off screen chemistry. The song was apt as Vidya was smitten with Naisha during the shoot. What is depicted on screen is pure love and affection for each other.'
Composed by Clinton Cerejo and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song has struck a chord with listeners thanks to
Arijit Singh's soulful rendition.
