Neeru Bajwan speaks on the Hindi version of 'Launga Laachi', says not too happy with the remake

Neeru Bajwan is currently busy promoting her upcoming film 'Shadaa' that stars Diljit Dosanjh. In one of the interviews the actress was asked about the popular Punjabi song 'Laung Laachi' which was remade for Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's 'Luka Chuppi'.

Though the original version of the song was a hit and received tremendous response from the audience, on the contrary the remake version got lukewarm response. On the same lines, Neeru was asked about her reaction on the song and the actress revealed that she was not happy with the remake as she thinks the film should have retained the original sond, instead of remaking it as the music rights always remained with T-series. She also narrated some incidences, where she shared about fans telling her that they couldn't listen to the Hindi version after listening to the original one.

Directed by debutant Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film released on March 1, 2019 and received decent response from the audience.
