New York-based Indi-Pop singer Manish Israni is excited about making his debut in India. He has composed and rendered two fast-paced tracks — Soniye and Jaipur Ka Raja.
Soniye, though sung in Punjabi, has a Latin influence while the second number captures the colourful spirit of Jaipur. The composer-singer reveals, “Soniye is close to my heart as it blends many of my music influences such as Latin, Club and EDM (Electronic Dance Music).

With Jaipur Ka Raja, the idea was to capture the vibrant spirit of my hometown.”
While the lyrics have been penned by Kumaar, who has Lovely (Happy New Year), Baby Doll (Ragini MMS 2) and Dilliwali Girlfriend (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) to his credit, the music has been arranged by Sandeep Shirodkar, who won an award for Munni Badnaam Hui (Dabangg). The videos have been directed and choreographed by Adil Shaikh of Manali Trance (The Shaukeens) fame.
The Jaipur-born singer is also keen to compose music for Hindi films. He says, “Bollywood music is at an exciting juncture today as it incorporates diverse genres like rock and pop.”
