has many musical inpirations, but her top picks are Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan.

In a video interview with Bombay Times, the 'Indian Idol 4' finalist talks in detail about the most appealing quality in each one of her favourites. “Lata Ji, Asha Ji, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal: they all are my all-time favourite singers. I mean there is so much to learn from them. I remember before taking formal training, I used to listen to Ashi Ji and Lata Ji a lot. I used to listen to old songs a lot and later on, I started watching Sunidhi Chauhan’s performances on a video-sharing platform— I wanted to be the same kind of performer and have the same kind of power in my voice. Because I was preparing for ‘Indian Idol Season 4’ and so I started preparing myself along those lines. Then I really love Shreya Ghoshal’s voice for its sweetness and, of course, Sonu Nigam for so many reasons! He is outstanding on stage and he is so versatile. So there is something very special and unique in each one of them which inspires me and motivates me," said Priyanka.
