Pankaj ji marked his presence at Raahul’s 13th birthday bash, a moment that the singer wishes to preserve in time. Talking exclusively to ETimes, Raahul shared, “I remember he came for my 13th birthday party, and he blessed me, and that blessing will stay with me forever."
"Fortunately, even after that, I met him several times at parties and events. He was very close to my father. I remember that he was always the sweetest. Whenever I met him, it felt like I was meeting a person from my family; such was his warmth," he added.
While sharing how the entire Jatin Pandit family just kept thinking about Pankaj Udhas, he shared, "My parents were remembering him, and they shared how grounded he was. He was so well-known, but his behavior didn't have an ounce of pride.”
“He was a simple, honest, and straightforward person,” Raahul concluded.
