Raazi', starring
Alia Bhatt and
Vicky Kaushal in the lead, has already managed to arrest the attention of the audience with its intriguing trailer and posters.
The makers, on Wednesday, launched the first song from the film, titled, 'Ae Watan'. This song gives an overview of the protagonist's journey from being a dutiful daughter to a wife and a spy. The song, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and sung by Arijit Singh is sure to evoke patriotism in you.
Alia even crooned to a few lines from the song on stage during the song launch.
The plot of the film follows the story of a young Kashmiri woman named Sehmat (Alia), who is sent to Pakistan on a mission to spy on the country for her motherland India.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta and co-produced by Priti Shahani. ‘
Raazi
’ is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
