Shekhar expresses his delight at KKR’s victory

They had composed Team Kolkata’s anthem, Korbo, lorbo, jeetbo re, but it took five long years for the Knights to live up to it. After Team Kolkata’s victory at the IPL 5 on Sunday night, Shekhar, from the Vishal-Shekhar duo, expressed his delight at the team being able to win the cup.
“The Knights have put in their 100%. This year belongs to Kolkata.First, a mega hit comes in the form of “Kahaani”. Then we have Team Kolkata winning season five of the IPL. Sujoy and Shah Rukh are dear friends and we have worked with SRK in Ra.One and Om Shanti Om. The earlier years have been disappointing with only the crowds at the Eden Gardens chanting Korbo, lorbo, jitbo re. But now, the entire nation will be singing the Team Kolkata anthem. It’s a happy ending. I want to make a trip to the city very soon to bask in the glory as well. If Shah Rukh wants, there will be more such songs. But right now, it’s Korbo, lorbo, jitbo re all the way."
