Anuradha Paudwal, through her social welfare initiative ‘Suryodaya Foundation’, released a short PSA film titled ‘Silent Chaos’ to further her support towards serving the deaf community and the public at large with awareness, inclusivity, deaf culture, care and cure. Conceptualized by the singer herself, the film is directed by Mihirr Upadhyay propagating the idea of this year’s theme for ‘World Deaf Day’ which is on September 24, 2023 of ‘Ear and Hearing Care for All’.
Speaking about the film, Padma Shri Dr Anuradha Paudwal said, “India has one of the largest population of people suffering from hearing impairment. In my pursuit of working for the deaf community, I decided to make a short film in public interest to create awareness of improving hearing health of all hearing deficient individuals ranging from kids to elderly. With this film, we hope to make a positive difference in the lives of those facing auditory challenges by promoting acceptance and unity.”
Filmmaker Mihirr Upadhyay stated, “I am truly honored to bring ‘Silent Chaos’ to audiences worldwide. It’s a project that delves into the world of auditory challenges, need for attention and inclusion. Anuradha Paudwal has been closely working on bettering lives of deaf individuals and has so far donated over 1000 hearing aids via her foundation across ,India post conducting screening camps to identify the severity of deafness and thus donating customized hearing aids. Belonging to the world of music, her compassion towards the cause is compelling.
