In a video interview with Bombay Times, Viruss talked about his inhibitions pertaining to the modified version of his original, and how he overcame it. "So, as you know, that we released this song back in 2017, and the song went viral and everybody just loved the song. And the song reached the makers of 'Laxmii', and when
Akshay Kumar heard the song, he just loved the song. So we got a call from the team of 'Laxmii', and they told him that they want to add the song to the movie... And that is where everything went on board. And after that, when I came to know about the news, I was really excited. My team, the old team, everybody was excited because basically it was my Bollywood debut. So it was a bit challenging also, for me, though, the song was viral, the song was hit, but when it was coming in the movie, so we definitely tried to do the right justice to the song and we created this track which is now being loved by everyone (sic)," said the musician.
