Celebrated Bollywood singer Zubeen Garg passed away on Friday, reportedly in a freak scuba diving accident in Singapore.
According to reports, Garg was rescued and given CPR, and taken to the Singapore General Hospital, where he was declared dead. Reports state that he died at around 2.30 pm India time.
Inviting fans to attend the festival, he shared, "We are organising The North East festival there. I will be coming to join you and invite you all to join us in this traditional event."
"See you there, I'll be performing, I'll be talking to you and I'll be there with you," he concluded.

Zubeen Garg's final post
Following news of his sudden demise, Zubeen's final post, shared on his social media handles just hours before his untimely demise, went viral among fans, grieving his loss. In the clip, Garg, who was in Singapore for the North East India Festival, shared a video message for all his fans and invited them, saying, "Hi my friends. I have come to Singapore... I am Zubeen Garg a Bollywood singer from Assam, North East."Inviting fans to attend the festival, he shared, "We are organising The North East festival there. I will be coming to join you and invite you all to join us in this traditional event."
"See you there, I'll be performing, I'll be talking to you and I'll be there with you," he concluded.

North East India Festival announces singer's death
A representative of the North East India Festival in Singapore told NDTV that while scuba diving, Garg had breathing difficulties. The statement to the portal read, "It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Zubeen Garg's passing. While scuba diving, he experienced breathing difficulties and was immediately given CPR before being rushed to Singapore General Hospital.
