In fact, I had the opportunity of running a dedication center, so it was a school fest back in Loyola School in Jamshedpur and this was is in 12th standard and my best friend Rohit Ray and I, we both sat and we had a dedication stand and we would take request, I think for Rs.10 or something for a dedication. But it was so amazing to see how people just stepped up and dedicated songs to their loved ones and yeah it was amazing.”
This made us wonder if she ever got a dedication, and the singer only chuckled. Though she didn’t answer that, she did gave us a tip of what sort of dedication would impress her. The singer said, “If someone has to dedicate a song to me, maybe it would be one of the Ghazals like 'Gulon Mein Rang Bhare' .”
“When you are growing up these songs change for you, but then when you finally find yourself or find your personality you close down to one song that suits you best,” she concluded.
