United we fight say Indian musicians to the global citizens

In this time of COVID 19 organizations across the globe are doing their bit to show their support and encouragement to each other. Similarly a motivational song was recently launched by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) named United We Stand. To show India’s support in this time of pandemic to all the global COVID 19 warriors who are helping people fight this war and a hope that together we can fight this too.This song is written by Joe Alvares and sung by Usha Uthup, Salim Merchant, Shefali Alvares Rashid, Benny Dayal, Sonam Kalra, Chandan Bala Kalyan, Joe Alvares, Salome and Samira, and music by Tubby, Pandit Ravi Chari, Pandit Rakesh Chaurasiya and Ustad Faisal Qureshi. The song’s sole purpose help people stay united and ignite hope in the hearts of people and encourage them to think positive in these tough times. Writer and composer Joe Alvares shares that this English number was produced in a short time of two weeks. He wrote the lyrics in ten minutes and composed the music in a day. “Amidst all these limitations, we as a team pulled up this without any glitch. I asked all the singers to sing the entire song and then I divided it accordingly. This song has been sent to the 156 Indian embassies across the globe who will then further play this in their respective countries. We used various apps at our disposal for the production purpose.” Adds Joe.
