A power play in Lucknow

Director Devang Tewari's second play was recently staged at Bhartendu Natya Akademi. Titled 'Hatyare', the play had an ensemble cast which included

, Abhishek Chaudhary, Priya Shahi, Sarthak Tewari, Sumit Tewari, Faisal Khan and Aman Singh. "The story very realistically shows how people in white collars and the so-called philosophers in our society, are the ones who twist facts and use their power for their personal benefits," shared Devang, who was spotted looking after the arrangements.

The actors who stole the show with their acting skills were Tripti, who portrayed the character of Phoolkunwar, Faisal, who played Shastriji and had everyone in splits with his coming and Binoo Kumar, who played Preetam Pyaare and was the surprise element in the end.

The two-hour long play concluded with an audio video clip highlighting the key characters of the play and their quotes.
