K-pop powerhouses BLACKPINK made a jaw-dropping return to the American stage as they kicked off the US leg of their highly anticipated Deadline World Tour with a sold-out show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Saturday, July 12.
This marks the girl group’s first-ever all-stadium tour, and their first group performance in nearly three years. Fresh off their solo pursuits, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa reunited in spectacular fashion, thrilling BLINKS with a dazzling mix of fan favourites, high-octane solos, and a brand-new single, “JUMP”, which dropped just a day before the tour launch.
Going by the videos that turned up online, the energy at SoFi was electric, as the four-piece group stormed through a five-act show, packed with hits, choreography, and individual flair.
The Deadline World Tour began its global journey at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on July 5, before making its way stateside for two back-to-back nights in California. According to reports, fans who flocked to the concert were treated to a carefully curated setlist that showcased both BLACKPINK’s group dynamics and their individual artistry.
