As G-Dragon’s birthday approaches, the idol’s fans have been planning events at cafes in order to get together and celebrate the happy day. Much to everyone's surprise, the K-Pop superstar decided to participate in the events in his own way to show his love and appreciation for his fans.G-Dragon pays for fans’ drinksAs per reports from Allkpop, the BIG BANG member paid for over 2,632 drinks for his fans at almost 14 designated cafes across the country. On the occasion of his birthday, the star will be treating fans to their favourite beverages at the special events planned around town.Even the number of drinks that the singer has sponsored is symbolic in the sense that a total of 188 drinks will be provided at every cafe. This directly points to ‘FANPLUS ‘ONE’ + ‘88’, i.e. the idol’s birth year, 1988. As per the notice, the drinks will be available for fans freely, and whoever comes to the cafe for the event can take the treats as long as there is nothing left.The official statement read, "On August 18, in celebration of our eternal artist G-Dragon’s birthday, we have prepared a small gift at the birthday cafés hosted by our FAM members to express our gratitude for your constant love and support”.Fans reactAs soon as the news about the idol’s gift to his fans was shared online, fans as well as netizens started sharing their reactions online. Many expressed how happy and grateful they were for the star for doing something like this.
