About (G)I-DLE(G)I-DLE is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018, consisting of members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. Initially a sextet, the group became a quintet after Soojin's departure in August 2021. Known for their musical versatility and self-production skills, (G)I-DLE has distinguished themselves as one of the top South Korean girl groups outside the "big four" record labels.
With a bold and sensual style, (G)I-DLE's music spans multiple genres, including moombahton and hip hop, and often explores themes of self-love, female empowerment, and self-acceptance. Critics have praised their eclectic style, symbolic lyrics, and confident performances.
