K-Pop stars from BTS members Jimin and J-hope to Hoshi and Taeyang were spotted as they headed to the fashion capital. While Jimin and J-hope were spotted at the airport, Hoshi, who was in a face mask also grabbed attention with his public appearance.

Jimin made headlines on Wednesday when he was named the face of Dior.

Taeyang, on the other hand, was among the early arrivals at fashion week. The star, who was named Givenchy brand ambassador, waved at crowds as he crossed cobblestones to reach the show venue - a tent set up in front of the imposing 18th-century Ecole Militaire complex in central Paris.

The increase of male stars invited to fashion week is said to be seen as a sign of the growing importance of menswear, which is now the fastest-growing fashion sector in many markets.

"Saint Laurent, Gucci and Givenchy are working almost better in men's than women's at the moment," Alice Feillard, director of buying for Paris department store Galeries Lafayette, told AFP ahead of fashion week.
