FNC Entertainment stated that Rowoon was cleared for active duty after a re-examination in early August, updating an initial delay that followed a Grade 7 classification. The company requested no on-site fan gatherings or official events on enlistment day to avoid congestion and respect other service members at the training center.

With Korea's mandatory service ranging between 18 and 21 months, Rowoon's discharge is projected for early to mid-2027 depending on his assigned branch. The timeline aligns with industry norms, setting expectations for a return to screens in the latter half of that year or shortly after.
