Lovesick Girl
’.
Ahead of ‘The Album’ release, the girls have been teasing fans with M/V teasers of their upcoming song. Earlier this week, the girls – Rosé,
Lisa,
Jisoo and Jennie, gave us a sneak-peek at their hauntingly beautiful music video.
On Wednesday, the band gave fans a hint of what’s in store by dropping a 16-seconds clip with an acoustic country-style guitar strumming as the melody. While an acoustic and mellow track would be interesting, BLINKs have taken to social media to predict that the girls will drop the beat in true BLACKPINK style.
Adding to the hype and anticipation around the track, it was revealed that ‘Titanium’ DJ
David Guetta
has produced the song, giving fans an added reason to believe it could just be the dance anthem of the year.
The girl group is also the first
K-pop
band to have two music videos with over 1 billion views. ‘Kill This Love’ crossed the 1 billion mark this September while their first music video to surpass the mark was ‘Ddu-du Ddu-du’ last November.
‘The Album’ that is the band’s forthcoming studio album that is scheduled for its release on October 2.
