6-5 = 2 director’s next is a romance drama sans songs

fame, is back with his next. After making a film that triggered a host of horror thrillers in Sandalwood, he has moved away from the genre to make a love story. The film,

, stars TV actor Deekshith Shetty, of Naagini fame, and newbie Khushi.

Ashoka tells us, “I wanted to make a film that was very different from my debut. This romantic tale will be akin to those that you see in the films made in Europe by makers in France and Germany. So, there is not song and dance, but instrumental background scores will carry the tale through.”

The makers have chosen to keep all the material low-key until now as they felt that people would expect something along the lines of 6-5 = 2. Quiz Ashoka about what genre of films he intends to dabble with next, and he says, “I have a crime thriller on my mind.”
