Bangalore City Court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Sandalwood star, actor-director
Rakshit Shetty and music director
Ajaneesh Loknath
for a case registered under the Copyright Act. Lahari Recording Company has filed the case against Rakshit Shetty and Ajaneesh Loknath for copying a song from ‘Shanti Kranti’ without consent.

Rishab Shetty and starred Rakshit Shetty,
Rashmika Mandanna and Samyuktha Hegde in lead roles. The movie was produced by GS Guptha, Rakshit Shetty and
Pushkara
Mallikarjunaiah.
Lahari Recording Company has claimed that they have the original copyrights of the song ‘Madhyarathrili’ from ‘Shanti Kranti’ which was released in 1992. The song was composed by Hamsalekha. They have further claimed that the song was reused in ‘Kirik Party’ without any consent.
In 2017, a complaint was filed against Paramvah Studios Pvt Ltd, Rakshit Shetty and Ajaneesh Loknath under the Copyright Act. So far, both, Rakshit Shetty and Ajaneesh Loknath haven’t appeared in the court for any of the hearings and so, the 9th ACMM court has issued a non-bailable warrant against them.
