Actress Pavithra Gowda's mother and young son visit her in Jail: Report

Pavithra Gowda and Darshan Thoogudeepa are currently in jail for their alleged involvement in the Renuka Swamy murder case. Recent reports stated that Pavithra received a visit from her mother and young son at the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bengaluru. The Karnataka police have reportedly gathered over 200 pieces of physical and technical evidence, including fingerprints of the individuals involved.

During the visit, Pavithra spent a few hours conversing with her mother, expressing the hardships she has faced since being incarcerated. She reportedly broke down in tears, lamenting her wrongful accusation in the murder case. Sources indicate that Pavithra is distressed over Darshan's apparent distancing from her, with the actor seemingly blaming her for the situation. The actress also shared her exhaustion from jail life and her longing for her daughter, while cherishing the time spent with her son. She voiced dissatisfaction with the prison food and mentioned her intention to file a petition seeking permission to use her household appliances in jail.


In contrast, Darshan has received visits from several celebrities, directors, and producers. Recently, his wife Vijayalakshmi, their son, his mother Meena, his sister, and his nephew visited him in jail. Prior to the Renuka Swamy murder, Pavithra Gowda reportedly had a dispute with Darshan regarding a luxury car. Following the disagreement, Darshan gifted her a Range Rover worth an estimated Rs 2 to 3 crore.

Both Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda are under investigation for their alleged involvement in Renuka Swamy’s murder. Renuka Swamy, a pharmacist in Chitradurga, was found dead in Bengaluru on June 8. It is alleged that Renuka Swamy had been sending inappropriate messages to Pavithra Gowda, which led to anger and ultimately, her murder by the actor and his associates. Renuka Swamy's body was reportedly disposed of in a canal.
