Anant Nag to star in babu's 'hottegaagi..'

Director Narendra Babu’s (of Kabaddi and

Santeyalli Ninta Kabira

fame) next film will be titled Hottegaagi Genu-battegaagi. Radhika Chetan (of Rangitaranga fame) plays the female lead in the film. Shooting for the film is scheduled to start on April 3. This will be Babu’s first full-fledged comedy film. While Anant Nag was known for his comedy films at one point in his career, he has been mostly confined to supporting roles in the last few years.

last year was an exception in which he played the principal character. Speaking to Mirror,

said, “We are all set to go on floors. The final detailing of the film is underway. As I had said earlier, though this is a comedy film, it has an underlying serious social issue. I cannot make films which will just entertain. But audience will enjoy the film just like they enjoyed Anant sir’s comedy films earlier. He is happy with the way the script has developed.”
