Actor and son-in-law of legendary actor Vishnuvuardhan, Aniruddha Jatkar has expressed his disappointment in the neglect of Vishnuvardhan's name in Karnataka Chalanachitra Kalavidara Sangha.

Now it is high time we ask concerned people the reason for neglecting Vishnuvardhan's name. Once I had spoken to the then KFCC president about the issue of installing the Vishnuvardhan statue. They said we can’t have everyone's statue. Rajkumar and Vishnuvardhan are the two stalwarts of the same industry. Dr Rajkumar deserves all the honors and respect. Even Vishnuvardhan deserves to get the same honors. The president asked to collect signatures from fans which I did. It feels sad that Vishnuvardhan's name is not mentioned anywhere. I am posing these questions as a fan, as a family member, as an actor and a member of Kalavidara Sanga.”
